*** There is a glitch in the browser version that stops other levels from loading. This makes the web version unplayable and stops you from leaving the starting town. There are also glitches in the browser that stop the player from picking up health items. This will be fixed, but for now you can play the downloadable desktop versions instead. They work just fine.***

This is a very early prototype for the Indie game Ironstar. Ironstar is a shooter about looking for lost advanced civilizations, using legends and religions from around the world as your guide. Its about wondering if these stories might be based, at least loosely, on real people and events from such a distant past that they have been almost entirely forgotten.

This Halloween-themed demo is centered around Irish and other Celtic mythologies, where the celebration of Halloween itself comes from.

Ironstar features some new game mechanics like particle cannons that can shoot through walls, bullets that can ricochet off of most surfaces, bullets that cause bleeding damage over time, and more. Some of these might be fun new ideas, but others might not work well and could be removed if players don't like them. I recommend you go through the tutorial level first.

Lastly, this is still a prototype and is very rough around the edges. There is no sound yet. Your allies don't have working AI yet, so they can't follow you into battle. There are some unexpected glitches that didn't appear until the game was deployed for different platforms. These will be fixed in the future. I haven't tested the game on Windows, so there may or may not be glitches on that platform that I haven't seen before.
